The Big Gets: Knox, Rodman, Pres. Obama

By Jordan Chariton

KnoxSome exclusive gets across TV news this morning, including an emotional Amanda Knox who vowed to fight her second guilty murder verdict in an interview with Robin Roberts; Dennis Rodman invited Chris Cuomo on a trip to North Korea with him; and President Obama wouldn’t give a Super Bowl (or 2016 election pick) to Jake Tapper in Obama’s first interview since the State of the Union address.

“I will never go willingly back to the place…” a teary eyed Knox said this morning on “Good Morning America,” struggling to finish her sentence. “I’m going to fight this until the very end. It’s not right, and it’s not fair. I need a lot of help. I can’t do this on my own, and I can’t help people understand this on my own,” Knox added. She told Roberts she isn’t prepared for potential extradition to Italy and will take her case as far as the Supreme Court.

Over on CNN, Rodman spoke with Cuomo from rehab. It was during an interview earlier this month with Cuomo that prompted an inebriated Rodman to get help. He also invited the CNN anchor to North Korea.

“I will take you over there and introduce you to him (Kim Jong-Un),” Rodman proposed. “I would love for you to come back here and tell the world…is he a nice guy.”

“I’ll take it, I take the invitation,” Cuomo said accompanied by a hand shake, pointing out he’d be surprised if North Korea allowed him to come.

And yesterday, Jake Tapper traveled to Wisconsin to interview President Obama, where the president detailed his his 2014 agenda and talked Super Bowl.

“I can’t wait. And the American people can’t wait,” Obama said, referring to his SOTU declaration that he will bypass Congress through executive orders when Congress doesn’t act.

The three interviews after the jump.
