The AM Ticker: Univision, Tapper, NBCU

  • Univision News has announced a new partnership with the University of California at Berkeley. The alliance is the initial step in a plan to open a fully operational bureau at UC Berkeley, which Univision says could in turn lead to the creation of similar bureaus at other universities across the country.

  • CNN’s Jake Tapper will spend the day with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie today. He will chronicle Christie’s Election Day events and interview him for “The Lead,” which will be anchored from the campaign headquarters this afternoon.

  • NBCUniversal has partnered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to launch “Next Steps for Vets,” a web portal with tools to help veterans and military spouses find employment and education opportunities. The portal will be hosted by NBCNews.com.
