Synergy! CBS Taking Over Jackson Square In New Orleans During Super Bowl XLVII

A slew of CBS programs, including “CBS This Morning,” the “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley and “Super Bowl Live” will originate from Jackson Square in New Orleans leading up to Super Bowl XLVII early next year.

Jackson Squre, in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter, will become “CBS Super Bowl Park” from January 8-February 3, leading up to the big game. All told, 15 CBS programs will originate from the park from four different sets.

From the news division: “CBS This Morning” will originate there from Thursday-Saturday. ‘The CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” will originate there Friday and Saturday. “Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer” will kick off the network’s Super Bowl programming Sunday morning. In addition, the President usually gives an interview to the network broadcasting the game, expect that to happen again with CBS.

Sports shows include: “The Super Bowl Today,” “Super Bowl Live,” “Inside the Super Bowl,” “Rome,” “NFL Monday QB,” “Lead Off” and “Inside the NFL.”

Entertainment shows include “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “The Talk” and “OMG! Insider.”
