We reported in January that a former colleague of HLN and “Swift Justice” host Nancy Grace was suing the host for breach of contract. Now TVNewser has obtained a court filing that confirms the case is moving forward.
Patty Caruso, a former publicist for Grace at Court TV, claims that she conceived the idea for “Swift Justice,” and that Grace promised her a gig as executive producer of the series. Eventually she was cut out of the deal.
Caruso, who was believed to be seeking $5 million in January, is now asking for “no less than” $15 million.
