Moderated by Chuck Todd, MTP has now finished No. 1 among the Sunday shows in the key demo for 14 consecutive broadcasts, and has won the influential DC market every Sunday broadcast since the spring of 2015. That said, the broadcast was down double digits from the comparable Sunday in 2016 (-14 percent in total viewers and -17 percent in the demo).
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see a year-over-year ratings decline for all of the Sunday shows these next few Sundays as we approach the one-year anniversary of the 2016 election.
Moderated by John Dickerson, Face the Nation remains on top in total audience. Television year-to-date, CBS’s Sunday public affairs program is averaging 3.59 million viewers, +2 percent in viewers year-over-year. CBS slipped to No. 3 in the key news demo after multiple weeks at No. 2.

Moderated by George Stephanopoulos, ABC’s This Weekremained No. 3 in total viewers, but moved up to No. 2 in the key A25-54 demo on Oct. 22.
