It was a close one on the last Sunday before the Presidential Election: NBC’s “Meet the Press” and CBS’ “Face the Nation” finished in a virtual tie in Total Viewers, with NBC leading CBS by a slim margin of 1,000. NBC also won in the A25-54 demographic, with ABC’s “This Week” placing second among younger viewers.
NBC, ABC and Fox are up double digits across the board compared to the same week last year. CBS is up +15% in Total Viewers but down -11% among younger viewers.
“Fox News Sunday” delivered its best performance of the year in both Total Viewers and A25-54 viewers. Cable replays of the program averaged a combined 2,588,000 Total Viewers and 610,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour airs in just 47% of the country.
