ABC’s This Week George Stephanopoulos was the top-rated Sunday public affairs program in both total viewers and the key A25-54 demo on November 22. However, NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd won both categories for the November Sweeps. MTP’s sweeps victory is the broadcast’s first November win in all categories in four years.
This Week’s win on November 22 was its first total viewer victory of the season despite winning the demo seven times. This week is up +15 percent in viewers and up +4 percent in the demo compared to the same week last year. CBS’ Face the Nation with John Dickerson finished third in both categories for Nov. 22 and second in total viewers during sweeps.
Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace combined with cable replays for 4.52 million viewers. Replays on FNC averaged a combined 2.58 million total viewers and 384,000 in the demo. It’s was Fox News Sunday’s most-watched broadcast since September 24, 2006. The episode featured a rare TV interview with Rush Limbaugh and the results of FNC’s latest poll were announced.
Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 57.4 percent of the country.
