NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd was the top-rated Sunday public affairs program in total viewers on November 15. MTP has now beaten ABC’s This Week in total viewers for 17 straight weeks. However, ABC’s This Week George Stephanopoulos finished first in the key A25-54 demo, snapping MTP’s two-week demo winning streak. CBS’ Face the Nation with John Dickerson finished second in viewers, barely edging This Week, and third in the demo.
Meet the Press is up +25 percent in viewers and up +43 percent percent in the demo compared to the same week last year, while This Week is up +12 percent in viewers and +5 percent in the demo. MTP also delivered an additional 1.37 million total viewers and 509,000 in the demo with rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace combined with cable replays for 5.34 million viewers. Replays on FNC averaged a combined 3.61 million total viewers and 670,000 in the demo and its 1.73 million viewer on broadcast was the show’s most watched in nearly seven years.
Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 57.4 percent of the country.
