The pendulum swings again. CBS’ “Face the Nation” was back on top March 24, besting NBC’s “Meet the Press” by +330,000 Total Viewers and +20,000 A25-54 viewers.
The ratings battle remains competitive, particularly in the A25-54 demographic, where only 93,000 viewers separate “Face the Nation” from third-place “This Week” on ABC.
Compared to the same week last year, only “Face the Nation” is showing growth among Total Viewers, up +4%. In the demographic, only “Fox News Sunday” was up year-over-year, +4%.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 1,818,000 Total Viewers and 356,000 A25-54 viewers. Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” added 906,000 Total Viewers and 416,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 48% of the country.
