CBS’ “Face the Nation” topped the Sunday public affairs shows in both ratings measurements June 30, with NBC’s “Meet the Press” and ABC’s “This Week” trading off for second place.
In Total Viewers, NBC’s “Meet the Press” had a +9,000 Total Viewer lead on ABC’s “This Week.” In the A25-54 demographic, ABC had a +5,000 viewer lead on NBC, which in turn had a +1,000 viewer lead on Univision’s “Al Punto.”
Compared to the same week last year, Univision is up the most, growing +96% in Total Viewers and +101% in A25-54 viewers. CBS is up +8% in Total Viewers and +19% in the demo, and NBC, ABC and Fox are down across the board.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday,” guest hosted this week by John Roberts, averaged a combined 1,788,000 Total Viewers and 294,000 viewers in the demo. Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” delivered an additional 1,045,ooo Total Viewers and 445,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 66% of the country.
