Without NBC’s “Meet the Press,” which was preempted last week due to coverage of the French Open, it was a split decision for the Sunday shows. CBS’ “Face the Nation” won in Total Viewers, and ABC’s “This Week” won in the A25-54 demographic for the second week in a row.
“Fox News Sunday” was in third place and Univision’s “Al Punto” rounds out the list in fourth.
Compared to the same week last year, only “This Week” was up across the board. “Face” is up in Total Viewers but down in A25-54 viewers, while “Fox News Sunday” was down in both ratings measurements.
Cable news replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,454,000 Total Viewers and 472,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour airs in just 65% of the country.
