Although CBS’ “Face the Nation” took the top spot in Total Viewers on July 21, the show came in third — behind NBC’s “Meet the Press” and ABC’s “This Week” — in the A25-54 demographic.

Compared to the same week last year, “Face the Nation,” “This Week” and “Al Punto” are down across the board: CBS is down -10% in Total Viewers and -40% in A25-54 viewers, ABC is down -10% in Total Viewers and -20% in the demo, and Univision is down -37% and -36%, respectively. “Meet the Press” (+7%/ -17%) and “Fox News Sunday” (+4% / -5%) were both up in Total Viewers and down in the demo.

Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,461,000 Total Viewers and 465,000 A25-54 viewers. Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” delivered an additional 1,170,000 Total Viewers and 514,000 A25-54 viewers.

“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 66% of the country.
