ABC’s “This Week” won in both total viewers and the A25-54 demographic July 20, besting CBS’ “Face the Nation” by +13,000 and +111,000 viewers, respectively. NBC’s “Meet the Press” was third, with “Fox News Sunday” and Univision’s “Al Punto” trading off for fourth and fifth.
Compared to the same week last year, ABC (+28% in total viewers / +41% in the demo), CBS (+12% / +28%) and Univision (+28% / +17%) were up across the board. NBC was flat in total viewers and down -6% in the demo, while Fox was down -5% and -29%, respectively.
Cable rebroadcasts of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,424,000 total viewers and 538,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 67% of the country.
