A big win for ABC as “This Week” topped the A25-54 demographic and placed second in Total Viewers behind CBS’ “Face the Nation.” NBC’s “Meet the Press” came in third in both ratings measurements, posting its lowest number of Total Viewers in 18 years.
Compared to the same week last year, “This Week,” “Face the Nation” and “Al Punto” are all up, with “This Week” posting the biggest gains: +19% in Total Viewers and +29% in the demographic. “Meet the Press” and “Fox News Sunday” (hosted this week by Brit Hume) are both down double-digits: -14%/-12% and -15%/-20%, respectively.
Cable replays of Fox News Sunday averaged a combined 2,338,000 Total Viewers and 393,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour airs in just 69% of the country.
