“ABC’ This Week” was the top-rated public affairs program on Jan. 4 in the key A25-54 demo. “This Week” was down -4% in total viewers but up +11% in the demo, compared to the same day last year.
CBS’s “Face the Nation” had the most total viewers, topping “This Week” by roughly 600,00 and ranking second in the demo. “Face the Nation” was up +8% in total viewers but down -15% in the demo.
NBC’s “Meet the Press” ranks third in both categories, down -11% and -13% respectively.
“Fox News Sunday” was down -24% in viewers and -28% in the demo, while combining with cable replays for 2.6 million viewers. Replays on FNC averaged a combined 1.53 million total viewers and 235,000 in the demo.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 55% of the country.
