The Sunday show ratings race shifts yet again as ABC’s “This Week” grabs the top spot in both total viewers and the A25-54 demographic. NBC’s “Meet the Press” was second and CBS’ “Face the Nation” — which won the last two weeks — dropped to third.
“This Week” is the only Sunday show to grow compared to the same week last year, up +25% in total viewers and +37% in the demo. “Fox News Sunday” is up in total viewers and flat in the demo. “Meet the Press,” “Face the Nation” and “Al Punto” are down across the board. (It should be noted that the year-ago Sunday was the weekend of President Obama’s second inauguration.)
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 1,875,000 total viewers and 343,000 A25-54 viewers. Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” delivered an additional 1,310,000 total viewers and 592,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 50% of the country.
