It was politics as usual for the Sunday shows February 20, with the protests in Wisconsin a hot topic. The devolving situation in Libya and the Middle East also got prominent play in the four shows.
As usual, NBC’s “Meet the Press” was the top Sunday public affairs program for the week in both total viewers and key A25-54 demo. CBS’ “Face the Nation” placed second in total viewers and third in the demo, while ABC’s “This Week” placed second in the demo but third in viewers.
Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” placed fourth on the broadcast nets, but saw an impressive bump in the demo week over week, and added over 2.5 million viewers on replays.
On cable replays, “MTP” added 1.21 million total viewers, while “FNS” added 2.56 million total viewers and 652K demo viewers.
