Another win for CBS’ “Face the Nation” on August 5, as its chief competition — NBC’s “Meet the Press” — was preempted for coverage of the 2012 Olympics. ABC’s “This Week” was second, trailing “Face” by just 21,000 viewers in in the A25-54 demographic.
“Fox News Sunday” was third and Univision’s “Al Punto” was fourth. Compared to the same week last year, all four shows were down in both ratings measurements.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 1,415,000 Total Viewers and 371,000 A25-54 viewers.
