Coverage of the Iowa Straw Poll didn’t really move the needle ratings-wise for the network Sunday public affairs shows.
As usual, NBC’s “Meet the Press” placed first in both total viewers and adults 25-54. The program was up in both categories compared to the same week last year, but down compared to last week.
CBS’s “Face the Nation” was next in total viewers, followed by ABC’s “This Week” in third and “Fox News Sunday” in fourth. The CBS and ABC programs both had guest-hosts, with Norah O’Donnell in for Bob Schieffer and Jake Tapper in for Christiane Amanpour. Both were down from the same week last year, as well as from last week. “Fox News Sunday” was up from the same week last year, as well as from last week.
