“This morning we are announcing that Stone Phillips is leaving NBC News at the end of June,” NBC News president Steve Capus wrote in a memo to staffers this morning.
“His has been a great run with this network… 15 years as the co-anchor of Dateline NBC. Along the way, Stone has distinguished himself with an outstanding body of work. Beyond that, he’s a gracious friend to many of us. We thank him for his years of dedicated work and wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors.”
