Steve Kornacki Named National Political Correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC

Steve Kornacki‘s role with MSNBC and NBC News has been solidified.

Kornacki, who been an MSNBC contributor since 2010, has co-hosted The Cycle, Up on weekend mornings, and lately has anchored the network’s 4 p.m. hour, will soon by hosted by Nicolle Wallace. Now, Kornacki will be National Political Correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC.

Kornacki will contribute regularly to political reporting on the Today show and become the primary fill-in host for Hardball with Chris Matthews.
