The State of the Union ratings are in. Fox News was the most watched cable news network in Total Viewers, while CNN was most-watched in younger viewers.
Compared to the 2012 State of the Union address, CNN showed the most growth, up +36% in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo. MSNBC was up +8% in Total Viewers and +26% in the demo. This was the most-watched SOTU address in MSNBC’s 16-year history. Fox news was down -3% and -16%, respectively, vs. last year.
CNN may have gotten a boost from its non-stop coverage of the Christopher Dorner manhunt and shootout. Those numbers after the jump.
