State of the Union Coverage: CBS

Scott Pelley will anchor CBS’ State of the Union coverage from Washington Tuesday evening. Pelley will be joined by “Face the Nation” anchor Bob Schieffer and “CBS This Morning” co-host Norah O’Donnell. Chief White House correspondent Major Garrett and congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes will also contribute to the network’s coverage.

Pelley will also sit down with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) for an interview on Tuesday’s “Evening News,” which will originate from Washington.

CBS Radio News Will Offer Live, Anchored Coverage of the State of the Union Address and the Republican Response and CBSNews.com Will Simulcast the Network’s Broadcast Coverage

            CBS EVENING NEWS Anchor and Managing Editor Scott Pelley will broadcast live from Washington, D.C., for primetime coverage of President Barack Obama’s 2013 State of the Union address and the Republican Response on Tuesday, Feb. 12 (9:00 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. He will also anchor the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY (6:30-7:00 PM, ET) live from Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, Feb. 12. Additionally, Pelley will conduct a broad-ranging interview with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) for the broadcast.

During the primetime coverage, Pelley will be joined by CBS News Chief Washington Correspondent and Anchor of FACE THE NATION Bob Schieffer and CBS THIS MORNING co-host Norah O’Donnell. CBS News Chief White House Correspondent Major Garrett and CBS News Congressional Correspondent Nancy Cordes will also report during the coverage.

CBS Radio News will offer live, anchored coverage of the State of the Union address and the Republican Response on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 9:00 PM, ET. CBS Radio News’ coverage will be available to the Network’s 580 affiliates, as well as on a web stream and apps for iPhone and Android devices. CBSNews.com will simulcast the Network’s broadcast coverage.
