FNC anchor Shepard Smith contributed some memorable reporting (we remember this “That is all the perspective you need!” moment) from New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Almost three years later to the day, Smith retraced some of the reporting during FOX Report last night.
Smith went to Bourbon Street, the Lower Ninth Ward and other landmark locations from Katrina coverage, while interviewing residents. And all that while wearing cargo shorts.

Overwhelmingly, the report showed a much more prepared New Orleans.
