Severe Weather Makes Weather Channel a Primetime Draw

As severe weather moved through Oklahoma and Arkansas Thursday afternoon, the Weather Channel was the most-watched cable news network in younger viewers during the 4pm hour. The channel drew 207,000 viewers, ahead of FNC, CNN, MSNBC and HLN in the hour. Fox News still led in Total Viewers. The channel was second among the cable news nets in primetime (8-11pmET) in the demo, averaging 183,000 viewers.
