Second Duggar Special Sets Friday Record For The Kelly File

Fox News Channel host Megyn Kelly is on a roll.

Last Wednesday, she averaged 3.1 million total viewers and 866,000 in the key A 25-54 demo for her exclusive interview with with the Duggar family. Part Two of the interview aired on Friday night, when daughters Jill (Duggar) Dillard and Jess (Duggar) Seewald spoke with Kelly.

The Duggar daughters brought huge ratings to Fox News, resulting in The Kelly File’s highest-rated Friday night ever in the key A25-54 demo. The interview averaged 2.2 million viewers and 641,000 in the demo, beating cable news competition combined by triple digits.

It was the No. 2 program in all of cable Friday (behind only Discovery’s Alaskan Bush People) and was up +114 percent in demo and +35 percent in total viewers versus the same day last week. Once again, Kelly also did well on social media with with 11,000 tweets and over 1.3 million impressions for the night, according to Nielsen Twitter TV ratings.
