Sean Hannity announced his moving date out of New York on last night’s “Hannity.”
Wrapping up a segment with Texas Governor Rick Perry, Hannity accepted the Governor’s plea for him to head down to the Lone Star state.
“You know we need you down here, we’re saving a place for you,” Perry said.
“Three years,” Hannity responded. “I’m getting out of New York, I’m not loved here. I’m like an orphan, I don’t have state, I don’t have a home.”
Perry assured Hannity that he’s got a home, but “he’s just not living in it yet.”
Hannity has been criticizing New York State’s high taxes for years, recently saying he can’t wait to get out of the Empire State after New York Governor Andrew Cuomo made comments about “extreme conservatives.” He’s apparently beginning to back up his talk of moving: he recently put his Long Island home on the market for $3.6 million.
If he was able to remain a host for FNC even after moving in three years (FNC has a Dallas bureau), he’d make his Texas debut right after the 45th president began their term.
