In an interview with “Girls” star Lena Dunham this morning on “Today,” Savannah Guthrie pitched herself as the fifth girl in the crew, but put her foot down when the topic of nudity came up.
“Spoiler alert, I’m not,” Guthrie said when Dunham said she is cautious about considering her for a part because she’s not sure the “Today” host is willing to “show nipple.”
Guthrie presented Dunham with storyboards that would fit her into the show’s plot: helping Hannah study for the bar exam, watering Jessa’s plants while she’s in rehab, and organizing Shoshanna’s closet.

“I’ll take it back to the writers room, and we’ll give it serious consideration,” Dunham said.
