NBC “Today” co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer had a little fun at the expense of the non-stop media coverage that the program has been seeing over the last few weeks. Lauer tweeted a picture of himself exiting a room in response to Guthrie’s “middle finger salute.” Guthrie responded by re-tweeting the photo with the hashtag #fauxcontroversy.
