Fox News Channel contributor Sarah Palin’s other television project finally has an air date. Sarah Palin’s Alaska will premiere on TLC in a prime slot: Sunday, November 14 at 9 p.m, according to B&C’s Stephanie Robbins.

TLC President Eileen O’Neill made the announcement during the Discovery Communications presentation at the Television Critics Association summer press tour.

“The early selects are looking great,” O’Neill said. “It’s become clear it takes a special individual to thrive in Alaska.”

O’Neill also confirmed that an upcoming episode of “Kate Plus 8” will feature the Palins, with Kate Gosselin and her family visiting Alaska.

Palin and producer Mark Burnett started shopping the documentary series to the broadcast networks earlier this year. When the broadcasters passed, they took it to cable, where A&E Networks and Discovery Communications showed interest in the project. Discovery announced it had picked up the program in March.
