Ronan Farrow: ‘I Love the Idea of Getting People More Involved in the News’

By Merrill Knox

With less than a month to go until his show debuts on MSNBC, Ronan Farrow is busy brainstorming ideas for the network’s 1pmET hour. The 26-year-old, who worked as a foreign policy official in the first Obama administration, said on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” he loves “the idea of getting people more involved in the news.”

“Where a lot of the news just leaves you by the side of the road once they tell you the story, my hope is every week we’ll introduce a kind of call to action, where we can track how people are actually reacting to the story, being a part of it themselves, and being a part of the solution,” Farrow said.
