Ron Burgundy to Guest Anchor on NBCSN

STAMFORD, Conn. – December 4, 2013 – In what promises to be one of the most significant moments in the history of media, veteran KVWN Channel 4 News anchor Ron Burgundy will guest host The Dan Patrick Show tomorrow morning from 10 a.m. – Noon ET on NBCSN.

Burgundy will join host Dan Patrick in-studio from Milford, Conn. on Thursday morning, marking the veteran newscaster’s first time co-hosting the program. The Dan Patrick Show airs weekdays from 9 a.m. – Noon ET on NBCSN and AUDIENCE Channel 101 on DIRECTV, simulcasts across more than 200 radio stations nationwide, and streams online via NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for digital, mobile and tablets.

“I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the greats – Costas, Michaels and now Mr. Ron Burgundy,” said Patrick. “They said it wouldn’t happen. Some are still saying it shouldn’t happen. But at 10 a.m. tomorrow, something is going to happen.”

Patrick regularly hosts the program alongside his production staff that includes Paul Pabst, Patrick O’Connor, Andrew Perloff and Todd Fritz, known as “The Danettes.”
