Page Six is reporting ABC’s Diane Sawyer has landed an exclusive interview with Bruce Jenner, despite Jenner’s long association with NBC Universal’s E!, which airs “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
An “ABC insider” tells Page Six Sawyer will produce a special to air in May, including an interview on Jenner’s gender transition that may begin taping this week. BuzzFeed, first reported Sawyer was in the running for the Jenner exclusive, a decision that has “caused internal consternation” at NBC News.
