‘Reliable Sources’ Shows Growth in Brian Stelter’s Second Week

On Brian Stelter’s second show as host, CNN’s “Reliable Sources” averaged 469,000 total viewers and 127,000 A25-54 viewers, improving on the week one audience by +17% and +8%, respectively.

“Reliable” came in second, behind only Fox News’ “MediaBuzz,” in the 11amET timeslot. Compared to the same day last year, the program  is down in total viewers the A25-54 demo. (The year-ago Sunday was two days after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown.)

By comparison, Howard Kurtz’s “MediaBuzz” on Fox News averaged 954,000 total viewers and 158,000 A25-54 viewers. Kurtz’s program was down in both ratings measurements compared to last week. Compared to the year-ago Sunday — before Kurtz joined Fox News — the program was flat in total viewers and down in the demo.
