CBS News has hired Reena Ninan as a correspondent. She will be based in New York and report for CBS News broadcasts and anchor for CBSN. She starts next month.
Ninan joined ABC News in the D.C. bureau in 2012 after serving as a Middle East correspondent for Fox News. She was named co-anchor of World News Now and America This Morning last year.
Ninan was recently replaced on the early morning newscasts by Diane Macedo.
