‘Real Housewives,’ The Family of Amy Winehouse Are Among Anderson Cooper’s First Daytime Guests

By Alex Weprin

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper has revealed some of the guests for the first week of his new syndicated talk show. The debut episode September 12 has a big “get” as the family of deceased pop singer Amy Winehouse speaks to Cooper. The appearance will be their first since Winehouse passed away unexpectedly earlier this Summer.

In addition, The Hollywood Reporter‘s Marisa Guthrie reports that a number of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” will appear the first week. Cooper has spoken quite fondly of the Bravo series of shows, and has said he hoped to have a number of cast members on his program. That program has also been in the news, as the husband of a cast member committed suicide, forcing Bravo to delay the season premiere in order to re-edit the season to make light of the news.

Update: Oh nelly, according to Telepictures, additional first-week guests will include Cooper’s CNN New Year’s Eve partner Kathy Griffin and “Jersey Shore” star (?) Snooki.
