Ratings Notes: ‘The Five,’ ‘AC360’

  • Fox News Channel’s “The Five” was the top program in the A25-54 demo Tuesday with 458,000 viewers. It was the the second highest-rated “The Five” of the year, topped only by its Monday performance which averaged 476,000 viewers. “The Five” more than doubled CNN in the 5pmET hour, and more than tripled MSNBC.
  • CNN’s “Anderson Coper 360” edged out cable news’s No. 1 show “The O’Reilly Factor” Tuesday in the demo. Cooper averaged 452,000 A25-54 viewers to O’Reilly’s 448,000. In the head-to-head re-airs of both shows at 11pmET, O’Reilly topped Cooper. The 8pm show gave CNN the most-watched primetime show in the demo.
