Ratings: Fox News Tops Cable Networks During Obama’s Syria Speech

By Merrill Knox

Cable ratings are in for the President’s primetime address on Syria. Fox News was the most-watched cable news network during both the speech (9pm-9:17pm) and the post-speech analysis in both total viewers and the A25-54 demographic.

4 million viewers tuned in to Fox News, more than double the number put up by CNN (1.9 million). MSNBC chose to average their viewership from 8pm-10pm, so we don’t have their numbers for just the president’s address.

FNC was also first in the demo, +37% ahead of CNN.
