California radio talk show host Tom Sullivan, a presence on Sacramento’s KFBK-AM since 1981, will soon move to New York to host a show on FBN, unnamed sources tell The Sacramento Bee. The paper reports that Sullivan, an accountant and investment broker by trade, told listeners at the end of his program yesterday he was anchoring his “final show in Sacramento” and that “I wish I could share more” about his future, but that “it’s not exactly legally been buttoned down as we speak, which is why I can’t comment on it.”
A Fox spokeswoman told the Bee that the network does not have a deal with Sullivan.
The paper’s sources also say Sullivan plans to continue his radio show via syndication.
