‘Quest Express’ to Broadcast Weekdays at Noon ET

Richard Quest, the man who anchored CNN International’s coverage of Brexit for almost 30 consecutive hours last summer, is set to embark on a new journey in 2017: A daily business show broadcast live from the New York Stock Exchange. Quest Express will air weekdays at 12 p.m. ET on CNN International, and will premiere this coming Monday.

Quest Express is a 30-minute show will offer a quick-fire briefing on the latest market movements and business stories, a bridge between the close of the European trading day, the opening of the markets in New York and the start of the business day in Silicon Valley. The show will draw on CNN correspondents around the world to add context and break news.

“The show will be like a shot of coffee: getting you quickly into the essential business stories at a crucial point in the day,” said Quest. “We’ll show the way the markets are linking together as trading unfolds and how wealth fuels global decision making.”

Speaking of Maggie Lake, CNN International’s new set at the NYSE will also play host to CNNMoney with Maggie Lake, which will continue to air weekdays at 9 a.m. ET.
