Puff Daddy Kicks Off 2016 Today Show Summer Concert Series

By Chris Ariens

Just like its competitors uptown, the Today show’s Citi Concert Series is back for the summer. Most of the concerts are on Fridays, but there are some Monday, Tuesday and Thursday performances. And because the show will be in Rio for the Olympics in August The Band Perry will perform from Brazil.

Sean “Puff Daddy” “P. Diddy” Combs opens the series one week from today. This is the 21st annual summer concert series, which was for a long time sponsored by Toyota. That brand moved over to CBS This Morning in 2013 to sponsor their Green Room.
