CooperProtestorsDuring coverage from Ferguson, MO last night, Anderson Cooper interviewed Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen who was gunned down by George Zimmerman in 2012. Midway through the interview, Cooper turned to protesters nearby, one of whom was shouting at him.

“I’m actually talking to Trayvon Martin’s mother right now,” Cooper shot back. “Will you have some respect? I appreciate that.”

Meanwhile, on Fox News, Megyn Kelly interrupted her own show early Wednesday morning. As she was talking about the murder of journalist James Foley, live video of Ferguson protests were shown on the screen. “Hold on…I realize…I realize something is happening in Ferguson, but we’re talking about something important here, so can you at least split screen the video,” Kelly said to the Fox News control room. “The protesters and the police are clashing again, they’re clashing again. But we’re talking about the dead, the death of an American who was beheaded.”
