Protesters in Los Angeles and Atlanta demonstrated outside CNN’s offices this weekend. They were targeting commentator Jack Cafferty over his remarks last week calling the Chinese central government, “the same bunch of goons and thugs they’ve been for the last 50 years.”
The LATimes reports that police estimate 1,500 protesters took to the sidewalk in front of CNN’s Sunset Boulevard building. Organizers claim it was closer to 10,000.
