Primetime Moves At MSNBC: Joe At 9, Tucker At 10, Rita At 11

MSNBC is shaking up its primetime lineup next Monday, TVNewser has learned. Joe Scarborough is moving ahead an hour to 9pm, Rita Cosby is being pushed to 11pm, and Tucker Carlson is taking Joe’s spot at 10pm.

The lineup change is intended to create a more seamless primetime lineup. Hardball with Chris Matthews and Countdown with Keith Olbermann have enjoyed ratings gains in recent months, but Countdown’s viewers don’t seem to stick around for Rita’s crime segments.

So here’s the new schedule: Scarborough Country at 9pm, The Situation with Tucker Carlson at 10pm, and Live & Direct with Rita Cosby at 11pm. Expect an announcement later this week…
