At the end of President Barack Obama‘s interview on “60 Minutes,” CBS correspondent Steve Kroft took out The Daily News cartoon (right) for one more question about Obama’s overwhelming media presence. Kroft points out that the President has been on everything from “The View” to “The Daily Show.”
President Obama responded to Kroft’s inquiry about the cartoon’s meaning:
I guess my attitude is if I’m reaching people, if I’m talking to them. If I’m engaged with them, whatever the venue, then hopefully that makes people a little clear about what it is that I’m trying to do, and understand the challenges that we face. And so I’m willing to take the risks of overexposure on that front.
