On his first day as The Early Show’s news anchor, Russ Mitchell was positioned in front of a 103 inch plasma screen. And weather anchor Dave Price is envious.
“I am man enough to admit that I have plasma envy,” Price said during the first half-hour this morning. Twenty minutes later, Mitchell pointed out that Price’s weather monitor is only 42 inches.
An e-mailer says the new news desk set “looks great — very stylish and modern — however it clashes with the dated look of the rest of the set. Are they remodeling the studio one set at a time or is this the full extent of the remodel?”
> Update: 11:49am: “By year’s end they hope to have the rest of the place looking as good as the news desk,” a tipster says…
