Piers Morgan Tweets Daylong Flight Mess: ‘Go ahead Delta, make my bloody day’

By Chris Ariens

If you follow @PiersMorgan on Twitter you’ve been witness to a rather amusing (certainly not for him) series of events today. I will now be landing back in New York an hour before I’m supposed to start judging AGT auditions in Minneapolis. Thanks Delta.

Then this…

Pilot: ‘Good news is we’ll be on the ground in about 25 mins.’ Yes, but it’s the wrong ground, isn’t it my friend? The WRONG BLOODY GROUND.

Things started looking up…

On a positive note, I’m back in the Delta lounge I was first in at 6am, and they changed the cheese from Philadelphia to Chedda. #smallmercy

Until…

On tarmac again. Come on Delta, you can do it. TAKE OFF and STAY OFF.

Then…

Still on tarmac. Not moving. Ominous.

And…

Flight attendant just smiled, then whispered to me: ‘Not looking good.’ #mixedmessage

And finally…

We are ‘de-planing’ – everyone off. What an absolute bloody joke. Be ashamed Delta. This is shocking even by your standards.

And you can all relax at Delta now because the gates of Hades will freezeth over before I darken your pitifully incomptent doors again.

American Airlines, you’re up.
