By Alissa Krinsky

On what would have been former President Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday, PBS will air “Nancy Reagan: The Role of a Lifetime” tonight at 10pmET (local listings may vary).

At the center of the biopic is an extended interview of the former First Lady by Judy Woodruff, who covered the Reagan administration as a White House correspondent. The documentary also will feature interviews with friends, family, and administration insiders, as well as rare photos and film footage, according to a press release.

The documentary is part of PBS’s “Modern First Ladies” series.  The first installment focused on Lady Bird Johnson, with the second a profile of Betty Ford.
