Shep Smith‘s sarcastic, side-splitting coverage of Paris Hilton‘s return to jail was the #1 demo hour on Fox News Channel Friday.
Studio B at 3pm, complete with soap opera references, dramatic retellings, and Geraldo’s “johnson” line, averaged 626,000 viewers in the 25-54 demo, making it the top-rated demo hour on cable news for the day (even topping O’Reilly, who had 564,000 in the demo).
Studio B had 2,355,000 total viewers, second only to the Factor’s 2,504,000…
