Pamela Brown Named Chief Investigative Correspondent and Anchor at CNN

By Mark Mwachiro

CNN has named Pamela Brown its chief investigative correspondent and anchor, filling a void left by the recent passing of Drew Griffin.

Brown will relinquish her weekend primetime anchoring duties in this new role but will still serve as a CNN anchor, filling in on the network throughout the week.

Brown was named as a weekend anchor in 2021 and also served as Senior Washington Correspondent. She was also part of the CNN Voter Integrity Team, anchoring from the Voting Desk throughout the 2020 and 2022 election cycles.

Brown, who joined CNN in 2013, has also been a Senior White House Correspondent covering the Trump administration and a Justice Correspondent focusing on law enforcement, national security, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

With the addition of these new duties, it is admirable to know that Brown is also a student at George Washington University pursuing a Master of Studies in Law degree.
